From С»Æ¹Ï×ÊÔ´Õ¾ Rowing comes an exciting rowing development program for Year 5-7 boys developed by the Rowing Director and Rowing Conditioning Coach.Ìý
The BGS+ Rowing: Introduction to Rowing program will develop technique over two levels, off the water and on. Participants will learn aspects of competitive secondary school rowing, learning single sculls and quad sculling techniques.Ìý Ìý
The program is capped at 16 participants per session.ÌýÌý
Introduction to F1inSchools – Year 6 students only: 6 week programÌý
The Introduction to F1inSchools program is based on С»Æ¹Ï×ÊÔ´Õ¾’s Secondary School state and nationals winning F1 in School program and aims to provide students with an introduction and hands on instruction on competing in the F1 in Schools competition. Each session is approximately 50mins in duration and will build on the previous week’s session.
Session 1 – Introduction
- About F1 in Schools and developing team branding and marketing.ÌýÌý
Session 2 – Construction
- Car design and construction.Ìý
Session 3 – Outcomes
- The importance of teamwork, review of previous sessions, reaction testing and contribution discussion.
Session 4 – Presentations
- Presentations skills, planning, writing and presenting.
Session 5 – Track Preparations
- Racing, reaction testing, track safety, discussion of outcomes.Ìý
Session 6 – Racing
- Racing and awards.Ìý
This program runs in Term 2 for 6 sessions.Ìý

Cancellations
Cancellations will be accepted within 7 days from the invoice issue date each term. Withdrawals outside of this timeframe incur an administration fee of $50.
